RINER, Va. — The Ridgeview girls basketball team is headed to the VHSL Class 2 Final Four — and a rematch with an all-too-familiar foe.

Senior Bailey Frazier posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, chipping in four blocked shots for good measure, and the Lady Wolfpack eliminated Floyd County 53-46 in the quarterfinal round on Friday at Auburn High School, setting up a state semifinal clash with Mountain 7 District rival Wise Central on Tuesday.

Nikole Counts contributed 16 points and five assists to Ridgeview’s winning effort, and fellow Wolfpack senior Amber Taylor scored 15 points and hauled down six boards.

Sophomore Alexis Kiser paced Floyd County with 19 points.

The fourth meeting this season between Ridgeview and Central will tip off Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Prior Convocation Center on the campus of Virginia-Wise. The two-time defending state champion Lady Warriors advanced with a 68-39 quarterfinal victory over Martinsville.
