MOUNTAIN CITY — Haylee Grubb scored 18 points to lead the Lady Patriots past host Johnson County.
Kylee Wolfe added 13 points for Sullivan East (13-16, 4-7 Three Rivers Conference).
East opened the fourth quarter with a three-point play by Grubb, a 3-point shot by Wolfe and layups by Riley Nelson and Grubb for a 10-0 run. The Lady Longhorns (10-14, 3-8) never were closer than six the rest of the way.
Emmy Miller had 14 points and Taylor Cox 12 for Johnson County.

JOHNSON CITY — Alasia Smith had 22 points and a couple of key steals for the Lady Hilltoppers (24-3), who fought off the Lady Cyclones (5-19) for the non conference win.

Kaylen Shell paced the Lady Cyclones with 21 points and McKendra Norris scored 10.

EIDSON — Jenni Droke scored 20 points to go with seven steals to push the Lady Seahawks to the nonconference win.
Brooklyn Derrick compiled 12 points, 11 blocks, 18 rebounds and 10 steals for Cedar View.
Courtney Nichols piled up 24 points for Clinch and Jasmine Lyons collected two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points.

CLINTWOOD — The Blue Devils knocked down 12 shots from 3-point range and kept their Mountain 7 record spotless.
Drew Vermillion had five of the 3-pointers on his way to 15 points and Bradley Dean sank four in scoring his team-high 20 for Gate City (18-3, 11-0). Jon Compton finished with 11 points in the win.
Gabe Counts blazed in 27 points for the Wolfpack (10-11, 3-8).

NICKELSVILLE — Senior Chase Love accounted for 27 his team’s 35 points in the Cumberland District win.

MOUNTAIN CITY — Blake Atwood piled up 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to power the Longhorns to their 17th consecutive win.
Johnson County is tied with Elizabethton atop the Three Rivers with 10-1 league marks.
Johnson County nailed 10 3- pointers, getting four apiece from Atwood and Gavin Reece. Reece finished with 14 points, Lucas Phillips totaled 12 points and Zach Eller amassed six steals.
Trey Lowe had 15 points for the Patriots, converting three of their eight 3-pointers. Dylan Bartley and Dayne Davis added 12 points apiece.

Dakota Hicks broke through for Volunteer with a bucket 31 seconds into the second period. Chance Johnson led the Falcons with 14 points, all in the second half.

JOHNSON CITY — The Cyclones held off a furious Hilltoppers rally behind 25 points from Nico Ashley.
Elizabethton (19-5) earned its first season sweep of Science Hill (13-15) since 2014.
Parker Hughes scored 12 points and Bryson Rollins had 10 for the Cyclones.

EIDSON — Nick Rose scored 22 points, Andrew Trent added 17 and the Seahawks outgunned the Wildcats.
