Henderson and Taylor wedding

Sarah Christine Taylor and Lucas Bryan Keith Henderson, both of Kingsport, were married April 11, 2015, at First Broad Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Harrison Bell officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Tricia Taylor of Kingsport, and the granddaughter of Phil and Jane Skeen of Kingsport, and Orbin and Shirley Taylor of Kingsport. The bridegroom is the son of Bryan and Penny Henderson of Kingsport, and the grandson of Keith and Tonie Arnold of Kingsport, Bill Henderson of Kingsport, and Helen Henderson of Weber City, Va. He is the great-grandson of Edith Newland of Kingsport.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.

Becca Bryson Bradley was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristyn Edwards, Alli Harville, Jordann Henderson, Laura Laffitte and Zana Operta. Morgan Arnold was flower girl.

Best men were Bryan and Matt Henderson. Groomsmen were Jordan Adams, Hunter Culbertson, Eric Spraggins and Sam Taylor. Ushers were Ben Cox, Aaron Marsh, Josef Throp and Derek Trent. Brody Henderson was ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and earned her bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee.

The bridegroom graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and received a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics and Marketing from the University of Tennessee.

The couple resides in Knoxville.
